New Patient Registration

The Practice welcomes new patients. Patients need to come into the Practice to register providing 1 form of photographic ID and also proof of address. It takes 48hrs for us to process a new registration. Patients are registered with the Practice so can see any GP within the practice.

Where to Find Us

We are based at Mowbray Square Medical Centre. Click below to see where we are on the map.

Practice Area

Al practices have an Inner and Outer practice boundary. We are not able to have patients registered on our list who live outside the outer boundary area.

  • The practice 'inner boundary' is the area from which new patients can register and covers patients living in Harrogate, Killinghall, most of Beckwithshaw, Pannal, Spacey Houses, Bilton, Forest Lane Head and Knox.
  • The practice 'outer boundary' includes our inner boundary plus the area existing patients may move to and still remain on our practice list ie Killinghall. See map below.
  • If you are unsure if you are eligable to be registered at the practice, please contact our reception staff who will be happy to advise you.

Outer Bounday Map - All patients (Inner boundary for NEW PATIENTS excludes Killinghall).

New Patient Health Checks

All new patients are requested to complete a health questionnaire. We recommend that patients with a chronic disease come for a health check-up.

If You Move Out of the Harrogate Area

You will need to find a new GP Practice. The local PALS service can help you to do this. Tel: 0800 06 88000.

Getting Here

The Surgery is in a central Harrogate location with easy access by bus (111,104, 100, 101, 102), train, taxi, private car (we have limited parking) and on foot. There is a regular service, the X4, from the bus station that stops at Mowbray Square before going to the hospital.  It runs every hour from 9.45 to 3.45. Click here for the timetable.

Access

East Parade is in a fully accessible building with disabled parking bays. There are disabled toilets with baby change facilities.

Safety

In the interests of patient and staff safety we have CCTV in the building and car parks.
