The objective of the immunisation programme is to provide a minimum of five doses of tetanus-containing vaccine at appropriate intervals for all individuals. For the majority of cases, a total of five doses of vaccine at the appropriate intervals is considered to give satisfactory long-term protection.

We offer numerous methods of LARC at Strayside Health. ‘LARC’ stands for long-acting reversible contraception. The main LARC methods are the IUS and IUD (otherwise known as ‘hormone coils’ and ‘copper coils’) and the Implant. We have a weekly ‘LARC’ Clinic, run by Dr Huskins, where all of these methods of LARC are available.
