Welcome to East Parade Surgery

The surgery does not have access to any coronavirus tests. If you need a test we recommend logging into NHS website every 1-2 hours to find newly released test slots. You are likely to have to travel out of Harrogate. You must isolate your entire household if anyone has a new cough if any type , or a temperature above 37.8C or loss of taste or smell. These are covid symptoms .

Please only contact the surgery if you or your child appear unwell enough to need a GP examination. Please look online for information and try to avoid calling the GP for this information . The NHS website is very helpful. North Yorkshire is experiencing a spike in Covid cases. Please be extra vigilant about hygiene and social distancing. The surgery is under heavy pressure and we want to look after everyone . Please use our services carefully. Thank you.

Please click on the Coronavirus Tab above for information about appointments, prescription requests, sick/fit notes, shielding and isolation and general support for patients at this challenging time.

Additional advice for parents who are concerned about their child's health can be found here

contact your doctors online and get a response by the end of the next working day

We would encourage patients to use online options wherever possible for medication ordering and appointment cancellations to keep phone lines free for GP consultations. If you have computer access please also make use of eConsult wherever possible, see above.

Thank you for your assistance with this.

If you have a recent persistent cough or fever or loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste please do not attempt to come to the surgery even if you have an appointment. Instead stay at home and self-isolate for 14 days
